WHITMAN —Selectman Daniel Salvucci held onto his seat by just six votes in Saturday’s election. 

Salvucci bested Rosemary Connolly in the board of selectman race 443 votes to 437. The election drew 914 voters, for only a nine percent turnout of registered voters. 

Christopher Scriven and Frederick Small were reelected to the Whitman-Hanson Regional School Committee. Wayne Carroll also won his election to stay on the town’s public works commission.

Elaine Bergeron was reelected to the planning board and Michael Ganshirt and Elaine Cope were elected as public library trustees for three-year terms. Theresa Lynskey was elected to the Whitman Housing Authority.
