FACEBOOK PHONE SCAM
A Skokie Ridge Drive resident reported on July 8 that someone claiming to be a Facebook representative had convinced them to provide personal information over the phone.

BIKE THEFT
Someone stole a bicycle from the 600 block of Greenwood Avenue between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. on July 9. Police did not specify if the bike, which was valued at $300, was locked at the time.
