Fully Vaccinated Napa Woman Dies Of Covid: Napa County reported its first covid death of a fully vaccinated resident earlier this month. Health officials said the woman was older than 65, had underlying health conditions and had received her second dose of the Moderna vaccine at least 30 days before testing positive for the alpha variant (B.1.1.7), which is believed to be more transmissible. Californians Warned Of ‘Vax For The Win’ Scams: The California Department of Public Health is telling residents to be on guard for potential scams related to the state’s “Vax for the Win” lottery. After the first drawing Friday, residents notified the state of scammers impersonating state officials through calls, emails, texts and direct messages on social media, the CDPH said Monday.
