Martin Lewis has hit out at ‘thieves’ using images of celebrities illegally in fake advertisements online to scam unsuspecting people out of their cash.

Speaking on today’s episode of Good Morning Britain (GMB), host Susanna explained how alongside Sir Richard Branson, Martin has one of the most scammed faces in the UK.

But scammers will use any credible celebrity image to con people out of their hard-earned cash.

The pair spoke to Teresa Jackson who sadly fell victim to a bitcoin ad on Instagram, using images of Bear Grylls.

The retired teacher was scammed out of a total of £120,000.

Speaking on GMB, Teresa said: “Part of my pension was in that pot. They were very, very sophisticated.
