The supply chain of black market Euro 2020 final tickets has become overrun with scams and touts asking for obscene sums as desperate England fans scramble for tickets.
Reg Walker, of cyber security specialists Iridium Consultancy, who has spent 27 years investigating music and sport event ticket scams, said greedy touts are cashing in on England making their first major final since 1966 with many fans set to fall victim to scams.
On Friday the highest priced tickets i could find was a staggering £125,000 (£31,250 per ticket) for a set of four hospitality seats at Wembley on resale site Ticombo.
With demand and prices higher than ever, Mr Walker warned: “It’s a massacre of the innocents. There’s going to be a lot of blood in the water.
“My advice to fans is run a mile.”
Euro final tickets were also selling on eBay and social media for thousands of pounds ahead of Sunday’s match.
