BURR RIDGE, IL — In recent days, Burr Ridge police responded to cases involving a fight over a baby, a big tow bill, construction trucks, a suspicious person, a fishing complaint, a gift card scam and a possible robbery suspect. Here is information from the latest police reports:
Fight over baby
- A man and a woman got into argument about 3:30 p.m. April 23 at Loyola Medicine Burr Ridge, 6800 N. Frontage Road. They were fighting over who got to take their baby inside to the doctor. The man tried to get the baby from the back seat, but the woman grabbed at his hands, resulting in a small cut from her fingernail. He then pushed her with his shoulder to get her away. Neither wished to press charges. They were separated, and he got an Uber to his mother’s house to avoid further argument.
Big tow bill
- A resident on Carriage Way Drive told police April 19 she received permission from a neighbor, via text message, that she could park one of her cars…
