Overalls, hoodies, boots stolen from construction trailer

Chatham-Kent police are appealing to the public for tips as they investigate a break-in on Park Avenue West in Chatham where someone took off with some work apparel.

Police said someone broke into a construction trailer sometime between 11 p.m. Wednesday and 1 a.m. Thursday and took off with a pair of size 10 Dakota quad comfort tan and black steel toe boots, a pair of green Dakota overalls, a pair of tan Dakota overalls, and four hoodies — one red and three grey.

The break-in caused about $200 in damage and the theft was estimated at $600.
