Wednesday, Sept. 1

3:02 a.m. – East Main Street caller reported seeing and smelling smoke in the area. Officer observed it appeared to be a recently extinguished camp fire in the Wheeler Avenue area. Resident was advised to pour more water on the fire to fully extinguish it.

6:04 a.m. – South Main Street traffic stop for speeding.

12:45 p.m. – Lobby walk-in to report their bank account had been accessed via a SCAM. Bank’s Fraud Department had been notified and they advised to file a police report. Report filed.

8:09 p.m. – Alarm company reported multiple burglar activations at Dexter Street. Building perimeter and doors checked and all secure. Unable to make contact with key holder. An additional call came in at 9:30 p.m. and contact with key holder had been made. Police found damaged sensors in an area under construction which did not affect…
